The number is transparent: what to do

It is the most common: you paint an area in yellow or white and, when it dries, you continue to see the number underneath. It's not that the paint is bad, it's that light colors cover less than dark ones.

How to fix it

1. Let the first coat dry completely. With thin coats, about 20–30 minutes is usually enough. If you paint over it with the wet layer, you will drag the paint.
2. Give a second thin coat of the same color. Two thin layers cover much better than one thick one.
3. If you still feel it, give a third. In whites and yellows it is normal.

So that it doesn't happen to you again

• Load the brush well in light colors: they need more paint than dark ones.
• Check the texture: if the paint is too watery, cover less. Close it tightly and let it take shape.
• Erase the number before painting. In large areas of light colors, the number remover marker leaves the canvas ready so that a single layer is perfect.
